Penn State Health Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Interventional Radiologist to join our busy community medical group servicing Lancaster County, PA. They will join our 3 existing fellowship trained Interventional Radiologist and offer interventional services at PSH: Lancaster Medical Center and St. Joseph Medical Center. These are 2 non trauma community hospitals. Call is IR only and is considered light and the expected frequency is 1 in 4. There is a generous call stipend available as well.
Currently the IR section performs: Biopsies, Drains, IVC Filter placements and Removal, GI/GU work, Ports and Tunneled line placements. There is potential to expand into dialysis, spine and venous interventions, as well as chemoembolization, thermal embolization and radioembolization. APP is present at both hospitals.
The ideal candidate should also be willing to read some diagnostic radiology studies; however, there are no minimum requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for an interventional radiologist who wishes to expand and mold the IR service line while providing care within a community hospital setting.

What we're seeking:
- M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
- Completion of accredited training program
- Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
- BC/BE in Interventional Radiology
- Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates.
- Collegial and Driven individual who is passionate about expanding IR services
