Krista Wright, Assistant Nurse Manager

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, she loves the close-knit team at Hampden, where the benefits of being part of a smaller community hospital are complemented by the backing of a larger, established health system.
Outside of nursing, Krista has a passion for musical theater. Her favorite musical is Les Misérables. She also began swimming competitively at age five, eventually becoming a Division I swimmer in college. Her specialties are backstroke and distance freestyle.
To get through her shifts, Krista relies on her compression socks, lots of water and her (sometimes dark!) sense of humor.
