Clinical neurologists with expertise in Hospitalist Neurology are invited to apply for positions as Neurohospitalists at the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, which is affiliated with Penn State University’s College of Medicine. This search represents part of a major institutional commitment to expansion of the neurosciences. The successful candidate will join the collegial faculty of Penn State Neurology, which is in a dynamic period of growth under the leadership of the Chair, Krish Sathian, MBBS, PhD. This position comes with the exciting opportunity to partner with the Community Practice Division of Penn State Health in building a robust, system-wide neurohospitalist program whose goal is to deliver state-of-the-art care of neurologic inpatients and provide timely neurologic consultations to the Emergency Department and inpatient services. The neurohospitalist service at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center will function in concert with a robust vascular neurology inpatient program, a broad-based faculty neurology practice and a dedicated neurological-neurosurgical intensive care unit. The affiliation with the College of Medicine offers opportunities in education of medical students in addition to ongoing training of residents and fellows, and in research.

- Medical degree - MD, DO, or foreign equivalent.
- BC/BE in Neurology or foreign equivalent, and training or experience as a neurohospitalist.
- Excellent patient care abilities and interest in teaching as well as participation in clinical / quality research.
