About Me
As the team psychologist, Dr. Rigby conducts pre-surgical assessments for bariatric surgery and organ transplant. She provides brief interventions in the form of both individual and group therapy for patients with psychological and medical conditions related to health-compromising behaviors and lifestyle modifications. Areas of expertise include cognitive behavior therapy, eating disorders, behavior change, behavioral medicine, chronic illness, health promotion, pre-surgical assessment, psychological assessment, obesity, weight loss, and depression. Dr. Rigby earned her doctorate in Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and her bachelor's and master's degrees from The Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Rigby joined Penn State Hershey Medical Center in 2008.Locations
