About Me

As a board-certified pediatric neurosurgeon and director of pediatric epilepsy surgery, I provide evaluations, surgery and inpatient care for all pediatric neurosurgery conditions. I have particular interest and expertise in epilepsy surgery; brain and spinal cord tumors; congenital spinal abnormalities, such as myelomeningocele; and hydrocephalus. I also care for adults with pediatric neurosurgical diseases. My experience includes performing hundreds of surgeries per year over a 10-year career.

As a pediatric neurosurgeon, I often meet kids and their families on their worst day, and I’m rewarded by bringing some comfort, knowledge and excellent treatment to those difficult situations.

I’ve been involved in multicenter research collaborations that are critical to advancing knowledge around rare conditions, including most pediatric neurosurgical diagnoses.
