About Me
I am division chief of pediatric cardiology. When I was introduced to pediatric cardiology, I never looked back. I knew I wanted to dedicate my career to children, and when I saw what we could do with diseases and defects that not long ago had no solution or treatment, I knew this was it. My decision to pursue training in interventional procedures was guided by how new and growing the field was, and the opportunities to provide less invasive and traumatic solutions for children with heart disease. I am very aware of the mental health impact of congenital heart disease on patients and families, and am always looking for ways to make their lives better. I also speak fluent Spanish.
