About Me
I am the medical director of pediatric emergency services at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital. I lead a dedicated team of health care professionals focused on providing exceptional care to children and their families during urgent medical situations.
In addition to my leadership role, I’m an expert in ultrasound and sedation. I teach workshops that help residents, medical students and advanced practice providers develop the skills needed to use portable ultrasound equipment at the bedside or in an ambulance. I am also actively involved in clinical research, including funded studies investigating the effectiveness of Lyme meningitis treatment.
