About Me
I am a family nurse practitioner with more than 15 years of experience as a family health care provider and over 35 combined years of experience in health care. My love of the medical field started early, as a young girl working in a hospital as a candy striper. I then served as a medic in the United States Army before progressing from a nursing assistant to a licensed practical nurse, a registered nurse and now a certified registered nurse practitioner.
I have worked in education, long-term care, hospital, emergency department, urgent care and family practice settings. I believe in meeting people where they are, so my approach includes your physical, emotional and spiritual health.
I have strong interests in mental health, addiction medicine and transgender care. I believe we should treat each other with compassion, dignity and respect. When I am not working, I like to spend weekends with my husband, grandchildren and three dogs.
