About Me
Lisa Culler, CRNP, received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from York College of Pennsylvania and Master of Science in nursing from Widener University. She began her career at Penn State Health as a registered nurse in the general pediatrics inpatient unit but soon transitioned to charge nurse, followed by a leadership position as a clinical head nurse for the general pediatric floor. Culler was a clinical instructor for pediatrics at Harrisburg Area Community College and clinical nurse manager for the Pediatric Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Clinic. Upon receiving her certified registered nurse practitioner (CRNP) degree, she moved into her current position as an adolescent medicine nurse practitioner in the Adolescent Medicine and Eating Disorders Clinic. Culler is also advanced practice provider (APP) manager for the Department of Pediatrics. In this role, she is responsible for supervising and managing APP staff within the Department of Pediatrics, which includes responsibility for staff recruitment, scheduling, orientation, payroll and performance management. She also acts as a resource to staff regarding legislation, licensing requirements and scope of practice. Culler works with department leadership to define roles and expectations of the APPs and continues to provide hands-on clinical patient care as an APP in adolescent medicine.
