Dr. Modi is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Modi was raised in Ahmedabad, India, where he received his medical degrees as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at B.J. Medical College. He later received a Master of Surgery — Orthopedics and an Orthopedic Surgery Residency from Civil Hospital, which is also located in Ahmedabad. After he immigrated to the United States, he passed the FLEX/ECFMG-I/ECFMG-II exams. His postgraduate training included a Transitional Year Residency at Frankford Hospital, Philadelphia, PA, where he also received a Residency in Internal Medicine. He then remained in Philadelphia for his Fellowship in Adult Cardiovascular Medicine at Graduate Hospital.
