About Me
I am a hematologist/oncologist who treats noncancerous and cancerous blood disorders, as well as lung, gastrointestinal, genital, urinary and skin cancers.
I became interested in hematology and oncology while I was a researcher at Harvard Medical School. I saw the major advances that were coming to treat cancers and blood disorders, and I knew I wanted to help people in their greatest time of need. I’m encouraged by the ongoing advances in treatment options that help provide improved outcomes for my patients. Developing strong relationships with patients and their families is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
I’m a Pennsylvania native and Penn State football fan who previously served as the director of cancer services in the Lehigh Valley Health Network. In my free time, I enjoy travel, scuba diving and snorkeling, and skiing.
