About Me
Dr. Pearl Pakdi is a board-certified neonatologist who joined St. Joseph Medical Center in March 2023. Previously, she had served the hospital for more than 20 years, including nearly 18 as chief neonatologist, before leaving in 2021 to join UPMC Lititz. Pakdi earned her medical degree at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. After moving to the U.S., she completed her pediatric residency and a fellowship in neonatal and perinatal medicine at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center - University Hospital of Brooklyn, N.Y. A fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, she is a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society and the Berks County Medical Society.
