About Me
I am a board-certified specialist and nationally recognized physiatrist in limb loss rehabilitation, helping people who have lost a limb achieve their best functional potential. I am part of each patient’s journey, from amputation surgery to independence with a wheelchair and, if appropriate, a prosthetic device.
It is amazing to see people take their first steps with a prosthetic device and, sometimes in just a few weeks, walk out of the rehabilitation hospital. I feel rewarded when my patients come back and see me in clinic with wonderful stories about all the recreational activities they are doing, how they are returning to work and the feeling of independence they enjoy.
