About Me
I am a fellowship-trained, board-certified pediatric surgeon and division chief of pediatric surgery. I specialize in pediatric general, thoracic and trauma surgery. I served in the U.S. Navy, where I was a general surgery specialty leader for the surgeon general while stationed at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Virginia.
I believe all children should have equal access to quality health care and surgery. I enjoy working with my patients and their families to help them get the care they need and offer support through stressful times. My favorite part of the day is our conversations in the office or hospital. Providing comfort to ill or injured patients and their loved ones is truly rewarding.
I have strong family ties to Pennsylvania and I’m happy to be practicing here. In my free time, I enjoy running, reading (especially history), travel, hiking and camping.
