About Me
I am a fellowship-trained, board-certified pediatric attending physician in the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center Emergency Department. I have special expertise in point-of-care ultrasound, which uses a portable ultrasound machine to scan for injuries in an ambulance or an emergency department.
I am also an assistant professor of emergency medicine and pediatrics at Penn State College of Medicine. I teach residents and medical students how to use portable ultrasound equipment and about the special needs of pediatric patients in an emergency. My research has focused on adolescent substance use and mental health issues.
