About Me

I’ve been passionate about bariatrics since I first started caring for postoperative bariatric surgery patients at Reading Hospital – Tower Health, in Reading, Pa., while completing my nursing degree. After graduation, I worked as a registered nurse in the hospital’s postoperative general and bariatric surgery unit. I later earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree and became a family nurse practitioner. I completed all of my clinical hours with Penn State Health and have been working with bariatric patients at the health system ever since, initially at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. I’m a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. I’m thrilled to be working with the skilled bariatrics and general surgery teams at Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center and Penn State Health Medical Group – Noll Drive.
