About Me
Dr. Theresa Yurkonis is a board-certified family medicine physician who cares for patients at the Family and Community Medicine Residency at Penn State Health Downtown Campus.
Prior to joining Penn State Health, Dr. Yurkonis served Guthrie Medical Group in Waverly, N.Y., and was a member of the family medicine residency faculty at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa. Dr. Yurkonis completed both her medical degree and a master’s degree in health service administration at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine at Seton Hill, Greensburg, Pa. She earned an undergraduate degree in bioengineering at Penn State.
Dr. Yurkonis is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and American Osteopathic Association.
