Additional Test InformationCollect specimen NO EARLIER than 14:00 SPECIMEN REQUIREMENT: Three separate specimens (a whole blood EDTA specimen, a whole blood Na Heparin specimen, and a control Na heparin specimen) are required. PATIENT SPECIMEN: 10 mL green top (Na Heparin) tube, whole blood. DO NOT ALIQUOT. Label specimen as blood for "NKC/Natural Killer Cytotoxicity." 3 mL lavender to (EDTA) tube, whole blood. DO NOT ALIQUOT. Label specimen as blood for "TBBS/T- and B-Cell Quantitation by Flow Cytometry." NORMAL CONTROL: 10 mL green top (Na Heparin) tube, whole blood. Draw from a normal (healthy), unrelated person at the same time as the patient. DO NOT ALIQUOT. Label clearly as Normal Control. Rubber band with patient specimen.
