A long history of providing expert heart care, close to home
Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center has provided compassionate, expert heart care to central Pennsylvania infants, children and adults with congenital heart disease since the hospital was founded in 1963. Our pediatric services have been based in Penn State Health Children’s Hospital since 2012. We see patients across the region through a network of 13 locations in Adams, Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and York counties.
Seamless lifelong care
We offer care for people of all ages with congenital heart disease. In the early teen years, we begin preparing patients for a move from our pediatric care at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital to our Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program in Harrisburg, Hershey, Lancaster, Reading, State College and York. The program is accredited by the Adult Congenital Heart Association as a Comprehensive Care Center.
