Treatment tailored to your unique needs

Our cardiologists work to pinpoint the causes of your symptoms and create a personalized treatment plan for your cardiovascular health. You’ll have access to the latest approaches to treating heart and vascular diseases, including minimally invasive techniques, traditional surgeries and hybrid procedures that combine both approaches.

We treat the full spectrum of heart and vascular diseases, including:

Leading-edge technology in a brand-new hospital

Opened in 2022, Lancaster Medical Center has two hybrid cardiac operating suites. Hybrid suites combine the features of a cardiac catheterization lab with an operating room, so our providers can perform more complex procedures for structural and coronary heart disease and endovascular aneurysms.

Penn State Health continues to invest in leading-edge technology that benefits patients right here in Lancaster County. In 2024, Lancaster Medical Center began performing innovative and less-invasive procedures such as transcarotid artery revascularization (TCAR), which treats carotid artery disease and reduces the risk of stroke; and venous thrombectomy, which removes a blood clot from a vein and is often used to treat deep vein thrombosis (DVT), marking an exciting advancement in specialized vascular care for our community.

We also offer the full range of noninvasive heart and vascular imaging and testing technology:

  • Cardiac calcium scoring
  • Cardiac computed tomography (CTA)
  • Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) that adapts to your body for a more precise, fast and comfortable exam
  • Cardiac nuclear stress testing
  • Cardiac stress testing
  • Electrocardiogram (EKG)
  • Holter monitor
  • Resting echocardiogram
  • Stress echocardiogram
  • Vascular ultrasound
