Where to Park
Park for free at the Centerview Parking Garage or valet park at the main Medical Center entrance.
Valet parking
Valet parking is available at the main hospital entrance for patients and visitors for a nominal fee per vehicle. Those with a disabled designated vehicle may valet park at no charge. Valet parking is available from 5 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. After 9:30 p.m., your keys will be available at the main information desk. The Centerview Parking Garage is also available for all patients to park and walk to the hospital.
Valet parking is also available at 30 Hope Drive and University Physician Center for outpatient appointments. Just drive right up to Entrance B of 30 Hope Drive or to Door 4 of the University Physician Center and hand your keys to one of our valets. This free service is available from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
If you drive your electric vehicle (EV) to the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine campus, you can charge up with us. Four charging stations are available on the first floor of the Westview Parking Garage, near the University Conference Center.

Please move your vehicle at your earliest convenience once it is finished charging so the charging station is available to others who need it. You may not use any other electrical outlet on campus to charge your vehicle.
How to charge your vehicle
Penn State Health has partnered with ChargePoint to install these EV charging stations.
- Create a free ChargePoint account.
- Download the ChargePoint app.
Start your charge three ways:
- Tap your phone on the station while signed in to the ChargePoint app.
- Tap your ChargePoint card on the station.
- Tap the orange “Start Charge” button on the station details page of the mobile app.

EV charging fee
You can use tap-to-pay credit or debit cards or digital wallets like Apple Pay or Google Pay. You cannot pay onsite with cash or an older, non-contactless-style credit card. ChargePoint requires a payment method to be entered during the app setup.
